About Us

We have spent many happy years on holiday in Norfolk and absolutely love it here. When we viewed Whistle Stop, we just knew it was the cottage for us. Aldborough is an absolute gem of a village. It is very hard nowadays to find such a friendly village surrounding a beautiful Green with a good local pub and village shop & post office right on your doorstep. National Trust properties and the beach are only a short drive away so it’s perfectly placed for exploring Norfolk. It was even voted as one of the best villages to live in The Sunday Times in 2021. One of the things that we love to do is sit outside the village pub, The Cricketers on the Green pub, and watch the cricket being played on the village Green, especially on a lovely sunny day. 

Although we are not local to the property, there are two key safes to give you access and we do have someone local to be at hand if ever you need anything. Of course we are only a phone call away if you have any queries and to give friendly help and advice. We often holiday at Whistle Stop and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do here.
